a season in costa rica

at the beginning of 2023, I spent three months living in costa rica to second shoot for a local wedding photographer (check out Treehouse 1987! https://www.treehouse1987.com/ ). while there, I lived with an amazing family that I had met on a previous missions trip, and partnered with them in their ministry in nicoya, costa rica (YWAM nicoya— https://ywam.org/location/ywam-nicoya/b-1825 ). both the family that I lived with and the photographer I worked with became like family, and throughout my time there I made or solidified some of the dearest friendships. costa rica is undoubtedly a second home. here are a few shots from life and ministry from my time there!

by coincidence, my dear friend, jaycie, was on a missionary outreach at the same YWAM base I was living at in costa rica. so, we got a little reunion! this girl has been like a sister to me, since we met each other at the beginning of our adult lives and walks with Jesus. God brought us together in friendship through an intense missions trip in southeast asia, and seems to keep being faithful to give us pockets of time together ever since. God is insanely good to us, friends. anyway, jaycie also happens to be a naturally, insanely good model— look at her go!
