hannah’s senior photos by the river

at once, I could tell hannah was someone special. just on the verge of graduating high school, and had her mind focused on the REAL things— who she wanted to be, not just where she wanted to go. as a follower of Jesus, she wanted to know him and to bless others with his love. we talked about God and the amazing things He has done in each of our lives as we shot, and all I could do was thank God in my heart. and even more so, when I saw this review from her! don’t mind me CRYING OVER HERE.

going into this day where I was having these photos taken, I never fcould have guessed what it would actually be like. at the start, I was filled with the anxiety and worry about how they would turn out but then as it went on, I realized that that wasn’t the most important thing that was going to come out of this. I was blessed to have a young woman to talk about the Lord with and experience a talk about Jesus and our testimonies in ways that I never have before. in finding these beautiful places He created, it was an absolute blessing to talk about Him and experience Him at the same time. He is faithful. He is loving. He is worthy of our praise. Forever grateful for this reminder that God is always there. He redeems. He never leaves.”

aaaaand then, at the end of the session, I turned to her and asked “do you want to run into the lake?” and because she is the BEST, her immediate answer was “YES!” so here we have it— the coolest cool girl lake splashy photos you ever did see. the joy of the Lord, man. it’s real.
