Hannah and I had run cross country together in high school. after years of college for her and years of missions work for me, she texted me “hey, are you still taking pictures?” and the rest was history. we were soulmates in photography— their ease in front of the camera made my shooting a dream, and my photography style meshing with their artistic preferences perfectly. we had a blast catching up on the years as we shot and walked around Old Folsom, marveling at all God had done in our lives since high school. since then, I’ve gotten the joy of shooting again with this awesome couple, when they became my first gig I shot in solely film.
