the lanes

wedding day for the lanes! as mentioned in this post, mckenna and I met at my sister’s art show well over a year earlier and bonded over our shared missions experience with ywam. beyond overjoyed to have gotten to capture this missions-minded, God-fearing couple’s best day ever!
they were the very first couple to get married at a gorgeous new venue in Sutter Creek, a venue with one of the most stunning views for a ceremony site I had ever seen; the altar looked out onto rolling waves of forest blanketing the mountains. I think this venue is going to do alright for itself ;)

the day was filled with total peace, and laughter spilled out of every room I walked past. this couple has a heart and a vision for their MARRIAGE, and though they were clearly excited for their wedding celebration, the goal of glorifying God with their marriage seemed to be at the heart of the day.
mckenna and connor headed down the aisle backed by their best friends, and even a junior bridesmaid and groomsmen— mckenna’s younger siblings.
this ceremony! beyond words…
The giddy joy of being married for a sum total of 15 minutes… there’s nothing like it.
And let me tell you, the dance party left NOTHING to be desired. I seriously couldn’t help dancing myself (which admittedly, is hard for me to stop from doing anyway soooo….)
